As the year begins, your body carries stories, sensations and emotional residues that shape how you step into what comes next. Before setting goals or choosing intentions from the mind, this practice invites you to return to the place where true direction begins: your regulated and embodied self.
Your Inner Compass is a gentle somatic movement experience designed to help you unwind last year’s tension, settle your nervous system and create the internal conditions where meaningful intentions can take root.
Across this nourishing session, you will be guided through:
⁃ Soft Somatic rolling to release habitual holding patterns in the spine, hips and shoulders.
⁃ Grounding Breathwork to regulate your system, quiet mental noise and bring your awareness back to your centre.
⁃ Gentle stretching and restorative shapes to melt stress, soften resistance and help your body feel safe enough to receive.
⁃ Slow, supportive Pilates activations to reconnect you with deep core stability and inner strength, preparing your body for the year you want to step into.
⁃ Guided visualisations for intention setting to anchor you into clarity, direction and a future that aligns with your nervous system’s genuine capacity, not external pressure or impossible expectations.
The practice is about tuning into the quiet intelligence within your body, the one that knows when to rise and when to rest, giving space to what truly matters to you.
You will leave feeling centred, grounded and more connected to a sense of inner direction that feels both powerful and peaceful for an uncrushed and mindful beginning. Open to all levels of experience.

Somatic Pilates is emerging as one of the most powerful antidotes to the high-pressure, always-on environments that so many of us live and work in. Instead of forcing, bracing or performing, this approach invites you to build soft strength to support your longevity, resilience and emotional balance without pushing your body into exhaustion.
Through slower, mindful movement, supported breathwork and the release of long-held tension patterns, Somatic Pilates helps your nervous system down-regulate. This makes it the ideal practice if you are a high-functioning professional and/or a parent, who wants to feel strong, mobile and deeply connected to their core without chasing perfectionism or burning out.
In this 75-minute experience, we combine the precision of Pilates with the inner awareness of Somatic practice to help you move from deep connection.
We begin with somatic floorwork and breathwork, slow, grounding patterns that unwind chronic tension, awaken deep core support and bring your nervous system into a state of safety. Once your body feels centred and ready, we transition into thoughtfully sequenced Pilates exercises to strengthen your anterior and posterior core, improve postural alignment and enhance mobility. Each movement is guided by sensation rather than aesthetics, allowing you to work with your body in the most optimal way.
We close with a restorative integration to let your system recalibrate, giving your body the physiological space it needs to absorb the work and shift into long-lasting regulation.
You will leave feeling lighter, taller and more grounded, with a calm mind and a body that feels strong, supported and deeply alive.
