Ready to swap 25 minutes of stress for a calmer mind, a stronger body, and more ease in your everyday life?

Here is what I imagine your body might be asking for right now...
- A pause from sitting at your desk.
- A release for your tight shoulders.
- A moment when no one needs anything from you.
- Space to breathe a little deeper.
- A chance to move without pressure, performance or the feeling that you need to "work and push harder."

If that sounds familiar, can I offer you a different kind of Pilates?
One where 25 minutes is enough.

Somatic Pilates for spinal health and core strength

This Somatic Pilates class blends gentle Pilates with mindful movement to help you unwind habitual tension, calm your nervous system and reconnect with your body from the inside out.
There is no rushing, no stress, no chasing calories, no trying to keep up.

Just one or two sessions a week can help you feel stronger, move with more ease, improve your mobility and create a sense of confidence and clarity that stays with you long after you leave the mat.

Something I have learned becoming a mum in my late 30's is that when your days are already full of deadlines, decisions and caring for everyone else, your body doesn't always need more effort.
Sometimes, it simply needs your attention (and a good programme).

So make yourself comfortable, let the outside world wait for a little while, and let's begin!

If you have ever wondered:
- Do I really need intense workouts to feel strong and healthy?
- Is there a way to move that actually calms my nervous system instead of adding more stress?

Then, a somatic approach to Pilates is what you need.
Slow down, tune inward and come home to yourself.

Hi, I'm Vanessa!
I have been practising somatic movement for over 20 years and teaching Pilates for more than nine. I first discovered Pilates as a teenager during my dance training, and over the years it has evolved from a form of exercise into a way of living.

My long-term practice of somatic movement has helped me let go of perfectionism, manage the risk of injury more intelligently, use my energy more efficiently, and feel calmer, more grounded and more connected to my body.

Today, my practice combines the strength and precision of Pilates with the curiosity and gentleness of somatic practices.
Rather than encouraging you to push harder, my goal is to help you move more efficiently, release unnecessary tension and build a body that feels strong, resilient and supported, especially if you are balancing a busy, demanding life (I have a very active 2 years old, I know what it means not to have time to rest).

I can't wait to help you discover how just 25 mindful minutes, once or twice a week, can leave you feeling stronger, more mobile and restored!
